Hello! My name is Alison Semmler and I am a NYC native and am the owner and lead planner at Lifestyle Maven Events. My friends call me Ali and when I am not working on one of your wonderful weddings, I can be found brunching and gallery hopping with my adorable husband, whipping up cocktails for friends, snuggling with my rescue cats or planning my next travel adventure.
I started Lifestyle Maven Events after years of working in the wedding and event industry and becoming disillusioned with the sameness and repetition found at each wedding and event. It has become my goal to help couples translate their unique backgrounds and interests into a wedding that is a true reflection of your personality; creating a unique and beautiful experience for you and your guests, and not the same mass produced cookie-cutter weddings that we are all too tired of.
I am truly interested in the couples that I work with and try to get to know them as intimately as possible so that your wedding day can be tailored to your needs and interests. My aim is to guide you every step of the way through the wedding process and to provide high quality, individualized attention and services.
My team and I offer a variety of packages and options to fit your needs. We offer services ranging from Month of Coordination to Full Service Planning + Design and everything in between.

“Alison planned, coordinated, and designed our beautiful, intimate wedding at The Foundry. It was simply the most fantastic experience. Alison was great at embracing our vision for our day and not deviating from it, but rather supplementing to it. The decor was absolutely phenomenal and the entire event ran like a well-oiled machine. Even when there was an unexpected hiccup, Alison handled it with such grace and quick-thinking. I couldn’t have imagined a better planning experience or more beautiful day. I’m recommending her to all my engaged friends. Thank you Alison!” – Bennett, The Foundry
