As a recent Jersey City resident, I am so pleased now be a Jersey City Wedding Planner due to the abundance of amazing venues to have a wedding ceremony, reception or other social events. Most of the venues boast panoramic NYC skyline views, have ample parking, amazing food and make it the perfect place to have your wedding.

Here are some of my favorites:

Hudson House

“Situated at the end of Port Liberte in Jersey City, NJ, this new wedding venue is an arm’s length away from the Hudson River and boasts outstanding skyline views from every aspect. Lined with the Freedom Tower, Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Verrazano Bridges; Hudson House is NJ’s hottest space”

Liberty House

“A “view with a room” concept. Liberty House’s 14,000-square-foot restaurant and catering facility is surrounded by water on three sides, providing breathtaking views of Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and the iconic Manhattan skyline.

  • Indoor and outdoor event spaces. The Liberty Room on the first floor opens onto beautifully landscaped gardens, patios, and two tented pavilions with fire pits and cabanas for year-round use. Up on the second floor, The Grand Ballroom boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, cathedral ceilings and a wraparound terrace.”

Barrow Mansion

“The Barrow Mansion, an 1837 Greek Revival style building, is the perfect place to have your wedding. Listed in the National and New Jersey Register of Historic Places, it has three adjoining rooms that may be rented separately or in any combination for an intimate gathering or combined for larger affairs. There is a large kitchen with a ten burner Garland stove that may be used to stage food from caterers. We even have the country’s oldest bowling alley!”

Maritime Parc

“Maritime Parc provides diverse options for different styles of weddings through utilizing their two event spaces, The Sky Room and The Aviary, and their accompanying wraparound outdoor areas. The view from all angles will offer a picturesque backdrop that will live on in memories – and photographs – for years to come.

In addition to the view and the day itself, Chef Siversen prides himself on working with couples to create a customized culinary experience to match the indulgence of the big day. This way, you can enjoy your special event knowing our warm and attentive staff has anticipated every need and will care for your guests with thoughtfulness and elegance”
