Planning a wedding is a daunting task for many brides and grooms to be. While I love a raw space, I understand the desire and need to have your catering and venue be the same vendor. For some, being tasked to select forks, spoons, chairs and linens can be too much and that’s when a full-service wedding venue is a perfect fit. Here are a few of my favorite full-service wedding venues that offer not just beautiful views but delicious food and impeccable service.

“Founded in 1891 and now a National Historic Landmark, the New York Botanical Garden is an iconic living museum and one of the greatest botanical gardens in the world. It is distinguished by the beauty of its diverse landscape and extensive collections and gardens, as well as by the scope and excellence of its multidisciplinary exhibitions and programs

On the outdoor terrace, an invigorating view of the Bronx River meandering past majestic evergreen trees creates a perfect natural backdrop for your big day. The newly refurbished, farm chic Stone Mill offers a paramount combination of historic charm and modern comforts.”

“Tucked away in one of the largest cities of the world, Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a beautiful oasis of trees, flower borders, and pastoral lawns—the perfect place for your wedding or celebration. Whether you’re interested in a gorgeous afternoon ceremony among the seasonal blossoms or a dance party beneath the stars, you’ll find the Garden an unforgettable setting for your once-in-a-lifetime event.”

“The historical character of Wythe Hotel, housed in a carefully restored 100-year old Brooklyn waterfront factory building, makes a charming backdrop for any gathering, from weddings and celebrations to meetings and cultural festivals. Wythe Hotel has seven versatile event spaces in our distinctly Williamsburg chic building, with the capability to host intimate dinners to gala receptions.”

“The 17-story hotel opened in 2007, but as soon as you walk inside you would think it had been there forever. With antique oriental rugs, giant fireplaces, vintage tiles, and Edwardian-era furniture, the cozy hotel looks like it’s been around since the turn of the century. It’s a favorite spot for celebs, but you would never know it due to it’s laid-back, intimate, and very comfortable yet chic vibe.”
